OMG! I love this BWWM romance. River is simply delicious. And Shalisa aka Shay is a wonderful beautiful strong woman. Their romance is seriously hot and very erotic yet very tender and real. I want to see more of River and Shay. This is a wonderful series that I am enjoying Rapture!
I didn't know this was a two part book. It ended so abruptly. It was like standing at the edge of a cliff and teetering there. Glad I got all three.
Good book, although short.
The book is three chapters and has no depth. The book is being marketed and sold as a series $2.99 when actually the next book is chapter four.
I'm no Author but an avid reader. connecting books or series are complete stories about the main characters or characters introduced in the book.
It's sad to say but what I noticed most about BWWM romances is that it centers around sex and not relationships and this book is no exception.
River finds out where Shay lives and shows up at her door the day after meeting her and has sex with her. From that experience Shay defines their relationship and he becomes her man. Really?
River is a gorgeous English billionaire and Shay is a beautiful Mulatto chef. Together River and Shay really heat it up. River is drawn to Shay immediately and falls for her before offering her a job in his new restaurant. This story is a wonderful black woman white man romance. Their romance is hot, steamy and full of Rapture. Praise for the Rapture series!
I love this book and the Rapture series. The romance between River and Shalisa is strong and sensual. River is a successful and rich entrepreneur who meets Shay who is in need of a job as a chef. Luckily River and his partner Theo own a restaurant that needs a chef. Shay is a great chef that knows how to run a kitchen until she runs into Theo’s ex-con brother Nicky. Really enjoyed this romance that is full of Rapture!
I enjoy the story and plan to finish the series, just that it reads like a short story that should be one book instead of three. So far it is a good read, a series of three books together would make one very good book.
